List PlannerCan you give me a quick overview of the List Planner? You can find an overview of the List Planner here. When would I use the List Planner as opposed to just the Memo Pad to create a list? You can use the Memo Pad to create both ad-hoc lists and organized lists. See Memo Pad for more information on both kinds of lists. When you create an ad-hoc list, you put it directly into the calendar, and once in the calendar, those entries are in no way related. In contrast, if you put a list into the List Planner, the list of entries stays connected. In other calendars, you might actually select a "Category" for an entry to put it into a list. Our method is more intuitive in that it more closely follows how people think. For example, you might be thinking of Girl Scout Activities as one entity. Wouldn't it be nice to have all entries relating to these activities together all the time, but still be able to see each entry on the appropriate day in the monthly and daily calendars? Or you could think of your life in terms of projects or clusters of activities. Create a list for each activity. For example, Deck Project could be one list. Soccer Practice Schedule could be another. One neat advantage of organizing yourself this way is that you could help others get more organized. And you could band together with other like-minded people to help each other get better organized. Once you've created a named list, it only takes one button-click to share the list with the public or privately with a group of email addresses. (Private sharing is currently disabled and will be enabled in a future release.)
