How do I set up email or cell phone reminders?

Follow these steps:

  1. On the Main Page, Settings menu, click on the Email Settings link.
  2. Enter the information on this page and click on Save. You will come back to the Main Page.
  3. Find the Email & Cell Reminders link and click on it. Enter all the appropriate information and click on Save.
  4. Then go back and click on the Test Email button on the Email Settings page.
  5. If you get the "Test email successfully generated!" message, go back to Email & Cell Reminders page and click on Test Cell.

Once Test Email and Test Cell work, you are correctly set up to receive those reminders.

I have Yahoo or MSN email. But Test Email doesn't work for me?

You will need an SMTP server. If you have a free Yahoo or MSN email account, you probably don't have SMTP or POP access. Without an SMTP server, our application cannot send out the required email — sorry. Your Internet service provider (ISP) might provide you an SMTP server.

If you are using an email client such as Microsoft Outlook or Eudora, look in the email account settings to get the required SMTP information. Or check with your ISP.
